Dr. Louis Ziegler, D.C., F.I.A.M.A

Dr. Ziegler has been serving in private practice for over 20 years and has been named "Top Physician", specializing in Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy by the Consumer's Research Council of America as well as "Top Acupuncturist in Integrated Care".
He attended the University of Connecticut on a full athletic scholarship and then received a Doctorate degree from Life University in Atlanta, GA. He completed post-graduate studies in physiological therapeutics at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL., and received a fellowship in medical acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in Carefree, AZ. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and maintains a license from the Virginia Board of Medicine. He is also certified by the American Biomechanical and Bioengineering Association.
He has done consulting for national and local media organizations, such as ABC's "Good Morning America" and Channel 30/WMDO as a feature key note speaker. Furthermore, he has consulted local newspapers and the Joel Atlas Skirble Foundation which provides scholarships for Hispanic immigrants in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. area. He also serves as an expert witness for multiple jury trials. He finds true passion for health care and fitness and has completed the Marine Corps and New York City Marathons multiple times.

Tetsuhiro Ueno, M.A.O.M., L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
Tetsuhiro Ueno is nationally licensed and board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He maintains state licenses in Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia. Along with his general practice he has strong interests in reproductive and gynecological conditions, insomnia, depression and internal diseases. He is an active member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM).
Before going into private practice, Tetsuhiro earned his Bachelor of Art degree in social science from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan. He then attended a three-year program at Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCTCM) in Austin, Texas where he graduated valedictorian in Masters Program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition to being in his private practice at Advanced Health Center, Tetsuhiro is a professor at Kings Park University, School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Springfield, Virginia.Tetsuhiro finds one important character in himself -devoting his passion and energy to help people, and sharing the happiness with them- and that is what he really wants to do and makes him happy. He thinks that building a good and trustful relationship with patient is extremely important for making the treatment successful, and his sincere and caring character will help to create trust between patients and him. Tetsuhiro is living in Fairfax, Virginia with his lovely wife, Sachiko. For those who have difficulty to remember his name, he has a nickname as "T.J.", "T" from "Tetsuhiro" and "J" from "Japan".



Dr. Mandana Shafai, M.D.
An Honor Graduate of Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio in 1992, Dr. Mandana Shafai was privileged to be accepted into Medical School at Georgetown University for an Internship in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, and for her Residency in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shafai is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She was an attending Physician teaching Medical Students in the classroom and on wards over 8 years at the Georgetown Clinic and Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia. She was the Preceptor for the Physician Assistant Program at Howard University and also a guest speaker on Cancer Prevention and Screening at PRC (Planning Research Corporation) on topics including gynecological, colon and prostate Cancer. She was invited to be a guest speaker on the Voice of America, and Dr. Shafai’s interview on Internal Medicine was aired all over the world. Dr. Shafai continues to lecture to various groups and senior citizens on many topics including Alzheimer’s disease.
A champion for women’s health issues, Dr. Shafai’s medical practice focuses on overall wellness that includes weight management, nutrition, hormone balance and preventive care. Recently, one of her patients made this statement that would describe the Dr. Shafai the best...
